By creating an account, accessing our platforms, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Our Services

Empire Cybersecurity provides cybersecurity education, training, and hands-on lab environments:

Empire E-Learning Platform

Online courses, certifications, career paths, and educational content covering various cybersecurity domains including penetration testing, network security, and defensive operations.

Empire CyberLabs Platform

Hands-on practice environments including CTF challenges, vulnerable machines, enterprise lab simulations (Master Labs), and web/API security labs (Surface Labs).

Professional Services

Penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security audits, and consulting services for organizations.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 Single Sign-On

Our platforms use a unified authentication system. One account provides access to both Empire E-Learning and Empire CyberLabs. Your account credentials and profile are shared across both platforms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Acceptable uses include:

  • Learning and practicing cybersecurity skills in designated environments
  • Completing courses and obtaining certifications
  • Participating in CTF challenges and lab exercises
  • Preparing for professional cybersecurity roles
  • Authorized security testing and research

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using skills learned on our platforms to conduct unauthorized attacks on any systems
  • Attacking, scanning, or probing systems outside of designated lab environments
  • Sharing account credentials or allowing others to access your account
  • Sharing, distributing, or publishing course materials, lab solutions, or writeups without authorization
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or third-party systems
  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of our services
  • Using automated tools to scrape content or interact with our services
  • Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Important: Empire Cybersecurity is an educational platform. Skills learned here must only be used ethically and legally. Unauthorized hacking is illegal and can result in criminal prosecution.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content on our platforms, including courses, videos, documentation, lab environments, challenges, and materials, is owned by Empire Cybersecurity LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our services for personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to these Terms.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. Recording, screenshotting for distribution, or sharing course materials violates these Terms.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Promotional prices are valid only for the specified period.

8.2 Subscriptions

Subscription services automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

8.3 No Refund Policy

We do NOT offer refunds. Our products are digital (course videos, lab access) and once a student has access to our copyrighted material, refunds cannot be provided. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but payments already made are non-refundable. We recommend creating a free account and watching our free courses before purchasing.

9. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • Our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in our services will be corrected
  • Completion of our courses or certifications guarantees employment or specific outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMPIRE CYBERSECURITY LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Empire Cybersecurity LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any unauthorized use of skills or knowledge gained through our platforms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use our services will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding payments

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, United States. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our platforms or sending an email to your registered email address.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using our services.
